About the European Leather, Shoe and Hide.

The Eur*pean Leather, Shoe and Hide is a little idea magazin about leather, art and craft as became a reality in the year 2010. Ten years after that a other little magazin; Lær, Sko og Skinn was started of the undersigner. Lær, Sko og Skinn is a norwegian languaged magazin as used to be sendt abroad to readers as not allways understud norwegian perhaps. This after Leather 2000 in Holland. In stead of loosing contact with crafters from then and try to make a comunication possible was it easyer with a little english languaged magazin. It’s published for the fourth time this  November/Desember  2011. It have 14 pages. And it have a more european perpective on the angle of articles in contrast to Lær, Sko og Skinn as have a more scandinavien. But you will allways find one or two articles in both of the magazin from scandinavia and opposite. And both  magazins keep an eye on american leathercraft and anywhere in the world and publish articles if  there is any  to publish..It’s  a independt magazin as Lær, Sko og Skinn, and not a traditonal magazin, even if, for instance,Lær, Sko og Skinn had it’s inspiration from a magazin with the same name, published most of the time between the wars.

Else will the publisher remain the reader about that  deadline for acceptance of articles, photos  etc. to the paperversion of the Euro*pean Leather, Shoe and Hide  to the May/June issue (Nr.1 – 2012) is April 30 and to the November/Desember issue (Nr.2 – 2012),october 30. Address is on the frontpage  or on page 2 in the paperversion. Or you can find it on the contact page on the web side.

Address is; www. euroleather.no

I’d like to see the NYTimes rcepaled by an even more serious practitioner of journalism but ONLY when that more serious forum has close to an equal influence on the public debate of our common issues.NPR has a chance and I support it .as I do the NYT with my subscription. I’ll now look more closely at ProPublica also. Thanks for highlighting ProPublica. A new consideration is why I read your blog.

The Euro*pean Leather Shoe and Hide have stuff about leather, art and craft on its pages. And do not compete with NYT. You would probably know why you are reading this blog if you had a subscription on the paperversion of The Euro*pean Leather, Shoe and Hide . It,s not big as NYT, but better, what consern leather art and craft.

Absolute quality stuff from this cpnaomy. Belts can take a while to be produced and delivered (made to order), but it’s worth it. I just got my black with black nickel hardware belt the other week. Not going to have the joy of seeing it age like a natural belt, but I’m pleased :)
